presenting New Creative Touch Designs From FIVE ONE INTERIO

‘’The gamut of  colours splashed used in this house make it an abode for all seasons.’’

A 1850 sq.ft , 3bhk apartment in which it exudes comfort and style due to the use of an eclectic blend of materials treated and applied in unconventional ways . The project was for the renovation of the apartment.

The design brief was Indo- western. The client had specific requirements in terms of furniture utility. They did not want too many Indian elements, but the use of colours and soft furnishings had to hint towards Indian style.

I have tried to maximize the available area by dividing the living space into two zones with the use of different  floor  material, wooden flooring  adds warmth in the living space which also serves as an dinning area an elaborate Tv unit with plenty of storage and veneer finish. The sofa set was outsourced, and custom made to my design. A fresh apple red colour was used in the dining area to complement the woodwork.

All the bedrooms feature are custom built furniture. Satuario marble flooring continues daughter’s room while wooden flooring adds vibrancy in the son’s room also.

An ornate headboard made out of a combination of materials and forms the focus of the master bedroom.

A full-length wardrobe in the daughter’s bedroom make the space appear larger. The paneling behind the headboard has been imported from china. The curtains in all the rooms are from Bharat Furnishing.

The daughters room had to have plenty of free space to move around and the colour blue-green and yellow  was the theme. Simple  wardrobes with a patterned laminate were used. The flooring in the balcony extension (which was taken into the room) was finished with alternating colours of prelaminated wood.

Mossic cladding in box like groove as the wall from bloc shaped patterns in the master bedroom while wooden panel hides the ceiling lights.

The upper level lobby that leads to the master bedroom overlooks a double height space and features a skylight.

A  painting in the Malaysian art form decorate the wall behind the master bedroom. The master bedroom’s shower cubicle is partly enclosed in glass. The washbasin counter holds a cabinet for storing utilities.
